Delás-Vigo is born from a personal story and a life in motion.
With Spanish roots and an identity built across different places, I felt the need to create something of my own at a moment when family life and daily rhythm were asking for a new balance. From Madrid, where I grew up and where I return often, Italy, where I have lived for more than a decade and which is now part of my life. And Menorca, a setting for family gatherings and important moments, our second home.
Rio de Janeiro, where I also spent important periods of my life, gave me a more open and vital way of understanding life. In Barcelona, the value of a lived-in home and of details that create atmosphere.
Across all of them, I understood that home is not a fixed place, but a feeling that is built and recognized.
I have always felt an affinity for materials, scents and carefully designed spaces. I am drawn to the essential, to what brings wellbeing without imposing itself. In a world where we are increasingly aware of what surrounds us, I wanted to create something as natural as possible, seeking balance.
The idea started simply, creating candles for my close environment as a personal gesture. From there, a process began of searching for the right wax, soft and balanced fragrances, and a coherent design in which every decision was made with time and care.
Lighting a candle has always been, for me, a way to recreate that feeling of home. A moment that transforms a space: a dinner, a pause, an intimate or shared moment.
Delás-Vigo is born from that gesture.
From the intention to create pieces that become part of lived-in spaces, where there is light, calm and a sense of harmony that remains.
